What does this do?

Imagine this scenario:

Why is this project important?

Historically, lesbians, gay men, bisexual individuals, and transgender people have not been understood and not accepted as “normal” on the human spectrum. Instead, they were stereotyped as deviants. Gladly, this worldview of the past is now changing for the better!

Sexual orientation and gender identities are integral parts aspects of ourselves and should never lead to discrimination or abuse.
Hate speech may sprout feelings of anxiety and insecurity which members of vulnerable targeted groups may experience and that leads to a negative mindset clouded with depression.
Detection of hate speech is important because it can help prevent these harmful effects.
In recent times, social media has become a hotbed for hate speech. Hate speech on social media can have harmful effects on society. The CDC has found a correlation between hate speech and self harm behaviour.
